People choose to use these things. If your friends and/or loved ones are actually having problems, then it's time to contact Gamblers Anonymous, not try to legislate away the problem (which will only lead to them gambling some other way, anyway, I should think). Fruit machines - however aggravatingly mesmeric I may find them - appear to provide pleasure to many, and without a much better reason to get rid of them ... Nah.
